"Nepo was a mainstay in the Gallagher Chiefs forward pack and 2017 after injury kept him out of the 2016 season. He has gone from strength to strength, with an impressive Investec Super Rugby season being followed up by numerous starts for the All Blacks throughout the Rugby Championship. A strong and powerful scrummager." - The Chiefs

Tighthead prop Nepo Laulala was highly impressive in his first season with the Gallagher Chiefs. Key performances earnt him a return to the All Blacks where he featured throughout 2017 in the Rugby Championship and end of year European tour.

The young powerful and explosive prop made his All Blacks debut against his country of birth, Samoa .

A product of Wesley College in South Auckland, Laulala has played 33 matches for the Crusaders.  He played for Canterbury in the last ITM Cup and was part of the Canterbury Academy.   He is the younger brother of former All Black Casey Laulala.
