"Mitchell performed well when called upon in 2017 and will be looking to further develop as a player after multiple seasons in the Chiefs environment. A hardworking loose forward, he will be looking to make a big impact on the field."- The Chiefs

Mitchell Karpik was a stand out for the New Zealand Junior World Cup winning U20’s.  His blistering form continued for Auckland during the 2015 ITM Cup where his side made it to the finals.

The Bay of Plenty loose forward was kept out of the side in 2016 due to injury, but impressed in 2017 with consistent performances.
